SoRare offers fantasy football fans a chance to finally own their players by creating officially licensed digital collectible cards using blockchain technology.
Each SoRare card is a non-fungible token (NFT), a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique. This allows users to collect players with the benefit of provable scarcity.
Like other blockchain assets, SoRare cards cannot be copied or stolen, they can be used and freely traded in other applications, and also retain their entire digital history.
Common Cards (those issued upon sign-up) are not NFTs and therefore not scarce. We recently published an article called What Is The Value Of SoRare Common Cards if you’d like to learn more.

Sorare recently introduced Rookie Cards along with the release of the first 2021 cards. Rookie Cards stem across all three scarcities and have a special design to indicate if it’s a player’s first professional season.
The player must be 18 years or younger as of July 1st 2020 (J-League, K-League or MLS) or July 1st 2021 (all other leagues).
